Parenting classes help parents develop and assist in helping establish discipline skills. This 9-week action plan engages participates to explore and identify areas of need, learning how best to change or better parent their children.

Helping People Recover and Rebuild Their Lives

New Beginnings assist in identifying destructive behaviors and teach cognitive skills to help overcome and change behaviors. All while achieving serenity, peace of mind, responsible decision making, social engagement and family responsibility. Our Outpatient Program (OP) offers long-term support as a step down from IOP. OP sessions are typically one hour, tailored treatment plan tailored for each client’s unique situation and progress. Since the first year of sobriety is critical, many clients choose to continue addiction counseling throughout their first year of recovery.

When you move into one of our houses, you’re not just moving into a sober house, you’re moving into a recovery community. We are dedicated to helping individuals in early recovery rebuild their lives. We offer comfortable, safe, residential living for those in recovery rebuilding their lives. Our houses regularly band together to strengthen the community, whether it is volunteering at the neighborhood soup kitchens or attending awareness fundraisers. We found that these steps of action in the community build the very foundation for us to stand on while rebuilding our lives.

Occasionally, someone placed into a sober house relapses and they must leave the sober house immediately – Redemption House is the place where they can go until they recommit to their sobriety. I moved into a sober house that had a culture of recovery and lived there for 18 months. Afterwards I went back to school to become a drug and alcohol counselor. Having a stable job, having stable financial situation and helping us get back on track and building for future really helps. The job coach of our partner agency comes to coach any guests that are looking for jobs. New Beginning Guests are required to engage in some sort of community service work.
